Job Title: Customer Service/Sales Representative

Amcon, The Eyecare Supply Center has been serving the eye care industry for 40 years. In that time Amcon has evolved from a contact lens supply company to a major manufacturer and distributor of optical, laboratory, exam, contact lens, children's and laser vision products. Based in St. Louis, Amcon continues to grow rapidly and has recently doubled it’s physical footprint in order to continue its Mission, “To provide customers with the highest quality products available, at great prices, delivered with superior service."

Amcon is currently seeking an entry level, Customer Service Representative/Sales Specialist to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Email and phone communication to provide customer service
- Order processing
- Data entry
- Outgoing phone calls to existing customers
- Outgoing phone calls to prospects in database
To be successful in this position, the individual should be a good communicator, have a strong work ethic, and work efficiently. Other skills for success include good organization, high attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
Education and Experience:**
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years customer service or sales experience
• High School Diploma
• A minimum of Associates degree a plus
Skills and Abilities:**
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Proficiency in Outlook
• Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner
Compensation and Benefits:**
• $15/hour plus commission ($2.5-$5.0 / hour additional comp)
• Benefits package includes: health insurance, life insurance, 401K and profit sharing plan.
