When is a plate fee required for imprint products ordered through Amcon?

A one-time fee applies to every new or updated imprint plate for Amcon products, with the following exceptions:

• Business cards, eyeglass case labels, Rx pads, Amsler pads
  – No plate fee if the imprint is text-only. Logos or graphic elements trigger a $35 plate fee.
• Postcards
  – $35 setup fee on all orders, regardless of design.
• Plastic Bags (PM-6401, PM-6420)
  – $60 plate fee, valid for 2 years from most recent order. New fee required for any design change or different bag size.
• Euro Totes
  – $85 plate fee is charged for new orders, artwork changes and different bag sizes. A new plate fee will be applied if it has been longer than 24 months since the last order.
• Lens Cleaner
  – $35 plate fee per new imprint plate. Stock Amcon logos incur no setup fee.
• Eyeglass Cases
  – $35 plate fee per imprint location. Inside-case imprints require an additional plate fee, even if the graphic content is the same as the outside.
• Cleaning Cloths & Kraft Bags
  – $35 plate fee per imprint (text-only or logo).

Plate fees are waived on repeat orders of the identical design—unless otherwise noted above.
